Project Introduction: Immersive Navigation Storytelling for HERE Technologies

Experience developped for HERE presence at CES 2023

This innovative project, developed for HERE Technologies, brings the future of navigation to life through an immersive simulation showcasing stories from both car and truck perspectives. Designed as an experiential exhibit, the setup features a cockpit display complemented by a large screen simulating a window, a panoramic long screen acting as the dashboard, and a 5.1 surround sound system to create a fully engaging environment.

The simulation presents two compelling narratives, each divided into multiple chapters, highlighting unique aspects of urban and long-haul navigation. My contributions as a designer included crafting a vibrant and detailed city environment in both 2D and 3D, in the Style of HERE’s CI, designing bespoke assets, and creating navigation routes that enriched the storytelling experience. Additionally, I collaborated on implementing these assets in Unity to ensure a seamless integration into the simulation. The UI team enhanced the realism by designing a sophisticated cockpit interface tailored to each vehicle type.

This project combines cutting-edge technology, storytelling, and design to reimagine how we experience navigation, offering a glimpse into the future of intelligent mobility solutions.
